The apartment
Our "Hut 27" is a natural wooden cabin, a semi-detached hut with two separate apartments: Paul and Louisa. It stands on the Duxeralm at around 1,600 m, only about 300 m from the lift and cross-country trail. Each apartment sleeps 4.
The apartment's carport parking space is right in front of the hut. The south-facing veranda is a wonderful place to sit in the sun, and in front of it a little brook babbles between the fir trees.
Paul has a living and dining room for cosy evenings after a day of skiing, hiking or biking, and a small TV and reading room with a large wardrobe. From here a wooden ladder leads up to the rustic sleeping loft with 2 mattresses. The bedroom has a double bed. The kitchenette has a ceramic hob with oven and a fridge with freezer compartment. The shower room with WC is small and simple, in keeping with the hut.

Location in Hochkrimml
Hochkrimml sits at around 1,600 m on the Gerlos Pass, right on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, and consists of the hamlets Filzstein, Duxeralm and Silberleiten. Königsleiten is about 3 km away, Krimml about 10 km. The snow-sure area is ideal for families and beginners, with three restaurants and two sports shops with ski hire. The lift and cross-country trail are only about 300 m away, and with good snow you can ski back to the door. In summer, hiking trails start right outside.
