Vacation apartment Paul
Our “Cottage 27” is a natural wooden cottage – a double cottage with two separate apartments – Whg PAUL and Whg LOUISA.
The hut is located on the Duxeralm at an altitude of 1600m and only about 300m from the lift and cross-country ski trail. Each apartment can accommodate 4 people.
Directly in front of the cottage is the carport car parking belonging to the apartment. There is a south-facing veranda where you can linger wonderfully in the sun. Here is also the stable, for skis as well as porch furniture. In front of the porch, surrounded by fir trees, a small brook babbles.
In the apartment PAUL is a living and dining room for cozy evenings after a beautiful day of skiing, hiking or mountain biking. In addition, a small TV/reading room, where there is also a spacious closet. From here, the small wooden ladder leads to the cozy and quaint sleeping loft with 2 single mattresses (90 x 190) and a small closet.
In the bedroom there is a double bed with 1 single mattress (1 x 140 x 200) and a spacious wardrobe.
The kitchenette is equipped with a ceramic hob 4 plates stove with oven and a refrigerator with freezer.
Since the cottage is quite natural and therefore very cozy and charming, it has only a small and simple shower room with toilet, sink and shower. Of course, there is heating and hot water.
The cottage does not stand lonely alone, but in the midst of other houses and cottages. However, I can still guarantee you peace and quiet, as Hochkrimml is a beautiful little idyllic mountain resort.

We ask you to bring the following items yourself:
– Bed linen (pillows and comforters are provided) / – towels / – toilet paper, household roll and small garbage bags.
– Recommendation: flashlight, slippers and in winter snow chains
We recommend the following activities in winter:
– Cross-country skiing / – Tobogganing 7 km night toboggan run Gerlosstein + floodlit tobogganing at the Filzsteinalm / – Arena Coaster – summer/winter toboggan run in Zell /.
– Horse-drawn sleigh rides / – Torchlight hikes from Krimml to the waterfalls
We recommend the following activities in summer:

Environment
Hochkrimml is located on the Gerlos Pass, on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol.
It is 1600 m high, the summit is 2000 m high and consists of 3 parts: Filzstein, Duxeralm and Silberleiten.
The distance to Königsleiten is about 3 km and to Krimml about 10 km.
Hochkrimml is a snow-safe area, also very suitable for children and beginners. A quiet mountain village with three nice restaurants, 2 sports stores with ski rental.
Skiing and cross-country skiing are only about 300 m from the house. If the snow conditions are usually good, you can ski down to the apartment.
The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and extends from Zell im Zillertal via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml. On the 143 kilometers of slopes and 52 lifts, skiers & snowboarders will find a wide range of offers for all skill levels.
If you ride below the Plattenkogel X-Press I eight-seater chairlift to the valley station, you can ride the Sonnwendkopf eight-seater gondola back up towards Königsleitenspitze.
In the winter months, the tranquil mountain region is the region’s biggest snow and winter fun paradise: the Zillertal Arena. There is something for everyone, whether expert or beginner, snowboarder or deep snow freak, from Zell am Ziller to Gerlosplatte a total of 165 kilometers of slopes offer the ideal conditions for every type of winter sport. If you don’t want to stand on the boards in between, you can go ice skating, cross-country skiing or have fun on the 7 km long (night) toboggan run.
In the summer months there are plenty of beautiful mountain tours, hiking trails, golf courses and leisure activities for the whole family.
