Vacation apartment Haus Sonnbichl
Our beautiful and cozy vacation apartment in Haus Sonnbichl is located on the Duxeralm, Hochkrimml (snow-sure area) in the immediate vicinity of the ski lift and the cross-country ski trail. The apartment with three bedrooms, very nice living room, cozy eat-in kitchen, full bathroom and a separate toilet can accommodate 6 people. A TV, radio, balcony, sunny south-facing terrace, WLAN as well as an oven ensure that you feel completely comfortable during your vacation. From the terrace you can look to the lift and local mountain, which is about 300 m away.
In the lower part of the apartment, right in the entrance area, there is the separate toilet, the living room, the eat-in kitchen, the full bathroom and two bedrooms. A wooden staircase leads to the upper area, which is also the 3rd bedroom and a reading area.
The apartment has a parking space directly in front of the door and an underground parking space. This is located on the main road, 3 min. within walking distance from the apartment.

– Recommendation: flashlight, slippers and in winter snow chains

Environment
Hochkrimml is located on the Gerlos Pass, on the border between Salzburg and Tyrol, at an altitude of 1600 m and consists of 3 districts: Filzstein, Duxeralm and Silberleiten.
The distance to Königsleiten is about 3 km and to Krimml about 10 km.
Hochkrimml is a snow-sure area, which is also very suitable for children and beginners. An idyllic, quiet mountain village with three nice restaurants and 2 sports stores with ski rental.
Skiing and cross-country skiing are only about 300 m from the house. If the snow conditions are usually good, you can ski down to the apartment.
The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and extends from Zell im Zillertal via Gerlos to Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml. On the 143 kilometers of slopes and 52 lifts, skiers & snowboarders will find a wide range of offers for all skill levels.
If you ride below the Plattenkogel X-Press I eight-seater chairlift to the valley station, you can ride the Sonnwendkopf eight-seater gondola back up towards Königsleitenspitze.
In the winter months, the tranquil mountain region is the region’s biggest snow and winter fun paradise: the Zillertal Arena. There is something for everyone, whether expert or beginner, snowboarder or deep snow freak, from Zell am Ziller to Gerlosplatte a total of 165 kilometers of slopes offer the ideal conditions for every type of winter sport. If you don’t want to stand on the boards in between, you can go ice skating, cross-country skiing or have fun on the 7 km long (night) toboggan run.
In the summer months there are plenty of beautiful mountain tours, hiking trails, golf courses and leisure activities for the whole family.
